WELCOME TO RIVER’S REST
An eclectic, restful mountain retreat that will renew and revive your spirit and soul. This peaceful riverside tiny home, located in Newland, fronts the Linville River, with swimming, tubing and fishing right in your back yard. This Tiny House Cabin is in a great community of other cabins with lots of open common grounds. A ten-minute drive brings you to the Linville Gorge Wilderness, The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 2 miles away, Linville Falls is only 10 minutes away.
This is a "Tiny House" style cabin that is approximately 500 sq ft. The layout is a combo living room/kitchen area with a futon and smart tv. The kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, Stove, Oven, Full Size Fridge, and Coffee Pot but know that it is relatively small. There is a full-size bathroom with a Tub/Shower combo and there is a Hair Dryer. The bedroom is a separate room with a queen size bed. The other sleeping area is a loft with 2 single beds. It is a low ceiling so please know that this sleeping space has to be accessed by a ladder and is good for kids and adults that have full mobility. There is also a fold out couch in the living area that will sleep one (or 2 small).
If you bring a pet PLEASE know that when you walk them it is very important to pick up after them immediately once they do their business. The community has a general property management company and they charge us $75 for picking up pet poop. Also, this is Dogs only, no Cats, sorry.

Our stay at this cabin was amazing! The place was spotless, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches. The peaceful location made it easy to relax, and the host was quick to communicate and made everything simple. We would absolutely stay here again!
This was a cozy spot that was quiet and a nice location. We enjoyed fishing in the River, relaxing in the hot tub and a nice fire in the fire pit. Even though there are other houses around it was very quiet. Nice extras like coffee and the little fireplaces were a nice touch!
