"Rivers Edge" Riverfront Tiny Home Log Cabin. Cute & cozy, great for small families & close friends to enjoy some time on the river and relax. Queen bed in the separate bedroom & 2 twin beds in the loft. Nice porch with views of the river & nice firepit area. Know that the loft is up a step ladder so please think of that if you have more than 2 adults in your party. Close to the Parkway & Linville Falls. Note that our Cleaning Fee includes us paying the hot tub company to drain every time.
So, top that off with…(did I say?) the open deck has a water-front view – plus a comfortable hot-tub spa? And here is a free tip – summer or winter. Jumping into the mountain river - and then later (after rinsing good 😊) - top that off with a long, nighttime hot-tub soak. It’s, well…one of life’s hidden treasures.
This wonderful retreat is located just outside of Newland, NC (near Banner Elk) – and just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It fronts the Linville River just a few steps off the deck and fire pit area. Did I also forget to say that the fishing is awesome – up-river and down-river from your cabin? The rainbow and brown trout (and native trout) might just be your dinner for the day - but there’s also great restaurant options only a short drive away. Your cabin is part of a small, shaded, quiet community of a few similar cabins along the tree-lined waterfront. On the land-side of the cabin is a few acres of open, grassy-fields as common grounds – so bring your Frisbee golf set. And all of this is only a ten-minute drive to the Linville Gorge Wilderness and the breath-taking Linville Falls. Interested in a spectacular excursion? An entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 2 miles away.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. From fishing in the creek to exploring local sites. The hot tub and loft were great for the kids. Plenty of local tree farms if you’re interested in that. Woody and Tom were very responsive, kind and knowledgeable. A gem location and a great stay!
